"Don" 85, passed February 13th. He was the husband of Dorothy (Marsh) Morrison. They recently celebrated their 57th anniversary.
He had been employed by Microfibres, Inc of Pawtucket for over 25 years as a master Millwright. He was a WWII Marine Corp Veteran, receiving Purple Heart.
Don was an avid gardener.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Nancy Slater of New Jersey, Deborah Sanford and her husband Richard of Glocester, RI, and Darcy Morrison of California, two sons, David Morrison and his wife Kathleen of West Warwick and Daniel Morrison of Pawtucket, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jack, Thomas, and Muriel Morrison.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home with a Requiem Eucharist in Christ Church, 1643 Lonsdale Ave, Lincoln at 9am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7pm.
